Around 4pm Sunday July 15, 2018, a person driving a Ford Escape crashed into power distribution boxes on Las Posas Rd, cross street Borden Rd in San Marcos California, knocking out power to nearby residents. A gas meter was just barely missed.
San Diego County Sheriff and San Marcos Fire Department responded to the incident.
The person was given field sobriety tests and was subsequently placed under arrest. Workers estimated power would be restored in approximately 8 hours.
